Wow this is one of those "50% classic EPS" as I call them, two absolute benchmark genre-defining type tunes & two generic easily-forgotten fillers. Perhaps Dean was contracted to a 4-track, so he added a couple spare ones layin around? They're so different...like two separate artists - The A-Side's title track "Friday Night" is average light German Trance for around this time...but only really goes anywhere midbreak where we get quite a nice synth lead but it's a little fast & sounds better about -2 pitch. Redeeming himself straight away "Don't Stop Me" is a nice stompy track that works well as an intro, little vocal sample (re the title), a sweet breakdown & wicked buildups & grindy stabs just make you close your eyes & hey your back in that laser-filled late 90's rave late-morning...just class!B-Side's "Camouflage" is almost a German Happy Hardcore-style, that only redeems itself for a min or so breaking down into a nice aCid line, but then we just go fluffy uplifting once more unfortunately. However following this is a HUGE Trance monster "Mega Sound "...often dropped at many a sunrise set by myself & many others I'd say...a simply divine string breakdown, building up into a huge slightly grindy synth line that kicks in & just keeps you there - seen this track get so many tired ravers back on the feet at the end of a night - think like some of the better TYT/UK44 releases.
